We’ve added increased functionality and made improvements to the user interface of our Redtail integration in this month’s product update.

Users of both Asset-Map and Redtail can now:

  • Quickly create an Asset-Map Household by importing a Redtail client record

  • Easily add a new, linked Asset-Map Member to an existing Household

What’s New with the Redtail Integration?

Mapping Financials

You can now import and store new account fields in Asset-Map such as balance, account type, company, and the updated at timestamps. As for Assets and Liabilities, we can now pull in balance or total, type, and name.

Importing Financial Data

Once the integration functionality is enabled, you will be able to manually import synced Redtail accounts, assets, and liabilities that are attached to linked contacts/households.

Redtail Financial on the Asset-Map Report

Once the household has been synced with Redtail accounts, assets and liabilities associated with those members can be pulled into Asset-Map and seen on their Asset-Map Report.

How Does It Work?

1. Select “Integrations” from the Household dashboard and toggle on ‘Include Financials’.

2. If you do not see the Redtail financials toggle on the integrations page, your client has not yet activated their Redtail integration. Once activated you will see the toggle.

3. From the Household Overview page under ‘Integrations', click enable in order to manually import via syncing Redtails accounts, assets, and liabilities attached to linked contacts and households.

4. Once the household has been synced, Redtail accounts, assets, and liabilities attached to those members will be pulled into Asset-Map and seen on a household’s Asset-Map.

5. Upon clicking the instrument, the instrument modal will open as it does for all modals, A more detailed view can be seen of what was pulled from Redtail.

6. Instruments pulled from Redtail modals will include a tab specific to real-time data as it is in Redtail. You will see the tab as a little Redtail icon along the top of the modal to get there.

7. This tab acts as a window into Redtail and allows users to see a household’s financial information in the Redtail application without logging into Redtail directly.
