This month, we'll show you brand new enhancements to Target-Maps, a new global integration with Plannr, a UK-based CRM tool, and we'll preview a special release for next month: a groundbreaking integration that'll make tax planning easier than ever!
Let’s dive in….
____________
Check out the new Target-Maps comparisons page…. Similar to comparison views you’re used to during online shopping, you can now select multiple Target-Maps to quickly compare and contrast goals side by side, to help determine which path will be used as the financial ‘goal’.
This functionality can be launched from within a single Target-Map using the “Compare” icon, then either clone that one to create a similar Target-Map with adjusted variables, or add an existing Target-Map, or create a new one from the compare view. A maximum of 3 Target-Maps can be seen on screen at once.
One way to use this new feature is to show versions of the same Target-Map, like retirement for example, to play out a baseline retirement fund showing current assets, then demonstrate a “what-if” scenario (like a long-term care event occurring), and using the third map to show a solution scenario (like retirement plan with long-term care premiums added).
Alternatively, you can analyze several different Target-Maps side-by-side, which is especially valuable when a client is deciding how to allocate resources across goals, as it relates to their financial priorities.
A second way to launch comparisons is from our improved Target-Maps Summary Page, simply select the checkbox for each desired goal and click the green “Compare” button in the bottom right corner.
You’ll notice we’ve increased the functionality and visual appeal of the Summary page too. The amount of funding for each goal is demonstrated with a simple pie chart on the left, while the funding source colors are broken down between insurance, cash flow and assets just as you are used to from the Asset-Map report view.
Individual Target-Maps can be shifted on the page to prioritize your favorites through a drag-and-drop motion. Additionally, you can select the “PIN” icon to keep a specific goal at the top of the page, or use the Target Icon to help mark the latest “approved” goal. For example, if you have multiple Long Term Care goals for a single member, this helps you show which one was discussed with your client and is now officially marked as the true goal in the plan.
And finally, in the top right corner, we’ve added the ability to filter Target-Maps by type, member, or client-approved Target-Map to round out a variety of ways to quickly access the information you need during a client meeting.
That said, we’ve only touched the surface on how to use it all here, so for more information about easy ways to implement these features, contact our support team for the next available training session on Target-Maps.

Next up...let’s check out our new Plannr integration.
Planner is a CRM tool that’s heating up the market in the UK, we’re excited to partner with them for our global customers. This integration allows you to import members or complete households from the Plannr platform, or you can add new financial information to existing households with a quick sync. From within the instrument modal, you can now see full details and also click out to the Plannr tool to access even more information.
